Sıra gecesi
What is a sıra gecesi?
A sıra gecesi is a traditional evening gathering in south-eastern Anatolia where a group shares music, conversation and a table. In Midyat the music of these evenings is called reyhani.
Which nights is the sıra gecesi held?
Every evening, seven nights a week. The programme starts at 19:30 and ends at 23:00.
Do I need a reservation for the sıra gecesi?
Yes, reservation is required. You can book through the form on this site, by phone or on WhatsApp.
How much does the sıra gecesi cost?
Please call or message us on WhatsApp for current prices. Guests staying at the hotel join the evening at a 50% discount.
What is served during the sıra gecesi?
Çiğköfte, a fruit platter, a nut platter, Syriac pastry and unlimited tea and water. The evening closes with traditional mırra coffee.
Is alcohol served?
No, we do not serve alcohol. The evening is arranged so that families and groups can take part comfortably.
How many people fit, and can we book as a group?
The area seats 150 guests. The whole courtyard can be reserved for henna nights, birthdays or company dinners; please contact us in advance.
Can we come with children?
Yes. The sıra gecesi is family friendly and there are photo spots around the courtyard.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 14:00 and check-out at 12:00. Our reception is open around the clock.
Is breakfast included?
We have two separate rates, with and without breakfast. Please state your preference when you make the reservation.
Why are room rates not shown on the site?
Rates change by season and length of stay, so we do not publish them here. Call us or send a reservation request for a current quote.
What is your child policy?
Children aged 0-7 stay free. A 25% discount applies for children aged 7-15.

Is there parking?
Free parking is available around the property.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, pets are welcome. Please let us know when you book.
Can I smoke in the rooms?
No, smoking is not permitted in the enclosed areas. Designated areas are available in the courtyard.

Can we visit the café-restaurant without staying?
Yes. The café-restaurant is open to day visitors, serving from 08:00 to 00:00.
