Midyat Guest House

The Midyat Guest House is one of the most elaborate examples of traditional Midyat stonework. With its courtyard plan, carved stone façades and arched galleries it carries the full vocabulary of local mansion architecture.

The building is known across Turkey for the television series and films shot there over the years. It now serves as a state guest house, and the courtyard and garden sections can be visited.
